Mr. Albers

Hey There, My Name Is...

Kris Albers

.

It is a privilege for me to teach grade 6 here at Webster Niblock and look forward to a great year. In 2013 I received my teaching certificate in Ontario at Brock University. I taught Multimedia at Crescent Heights High School in my first year of teaching and have taught grades 3 & 6 before coming to Webster. I grew up in Humboldt Saskatchewan and first came to Medicine Hat in 1997 to take the Visual Communications course at the College. Once graduated I worked as a Graphic Designer for many years and also worked in construction before going back to school to be a teacher.

I am committed to creating a positive and innovative learning environment within the classroom and strive to be an example of integrity and professionalism. I am passionate about working with students and helping them come to see their full potential in and out of the class. I love bringing creativity and technology into the classroom to help further achieve student engagement and success.

I am married and have 3 kids. One of our favorite things to do as a family is going to the lake in the summer doing activities like fishing, swimming, quadding, boating or just sitting around a nice campfire surrounded by trees. I can’t forget to mention that we are big Saskatchewan Roughrider and Toronto Blue Jay fans.

I am looking forward to a great year! Please contact me anytime if you have any questions or concerns about your child.
