We are pleased to announce the appointment of Katrina Corbett as Principal of Hub Virtual School, she will step into the role in the 2026–2027 school year. She holds a Bachelor of Education from University of Maine and a Master’s degree from the University of Lethbridge.

Katrina brings extensive professional experience across all grade levels, from early education through high school. She has previously served as vice‑principal at George Davison School and Crescent Heights School, and as principal at Elm Street School and Herald School. She moved into a centralized leadership role through the Division Principal Pilot Project, where she supported the development of specialized classrooms and associated professional learning while acting as the central liaison between MHPSD and the CASA organization, supporting the CASA classroom at Southview Community School. This work provided a strong foundation for her appointment as the Principal of Southview Community School in 2025-2026.

Katrina’s leadership is grounded in inclusive education principles and a strong belief in collaboration, innovation, and student‑centered learning. “Virtual learning creates powerful opportunities to meet students where they are,” Katrina shares. “By building strong relationships, clear structures, and flexible pathways, we can support students to engage meaningfully in their learning while developing independence, confidence, and lifelong skills.”

Katrina will be a tremendous asset to Hub Virtual School. Join us in congratulating her on this appointment.
